Suzanne B. Laporte, Executive Director
Suzanne Laporte became the Executive Director of Compass in July 2007. Prior to joining Compass, she spent 16 years in marketing and communications. She held several jobs including Assistant Editor at Working Woman magazine and Marketing Director at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a large daily newspaper in Texas. Before joining Compass, she was an independent marketing consultant whose clients included American University. She also worked as a marketing writer and editor in the public sector consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
At Compass, Suzanne oversees all the operations and strategy of the pro bono consulting organization where she works closely with volunteers, clients and partners.
Suzanne has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an AB in History from Smith College. She has served on the boards and capital campaigns of several area independent schools.
GEORGIA KATINAS, ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER
Georgia graduated from the University of Vermont in 2010. She double majored in English and Political Science, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She participated in Alternative Spring Break, a volunteer program through the school, and held numerous leadership roles in the Outing Club and Freshmen Orientation programs.
